My hands down favorite thing in Egypt is walking and finding little kiosks filled with snacks and drinks. I always end up finding these little shops right when I need them. My go to order will always be a flavored Fanta. These street kiosks resemble our 7-11 or small mart, filled with a good range of different goodies. However a difference between the goods here and one in an indoor market is that, in a kiosk these goods are subject to up heat that reach sometimes up to109 F. These high tempetures cause the chips to grow stale and the crossiant to grow dry. I think this raises health concerns for many local Egyptians as they continue to consume food thats been damaged by the sun.
