Cairo isn’t an accessible city, and its attractions aren’t very accessible either. Starting with public transportation, the buses aren’t wheelchair accessible but there are private cabs like London Cab is wheelchair friendly , however this comes with a cost. Streets aren’t build with wheelchair in mind. Most bridges have stairs not even electric escalators. To get access to underground you need to go down stairs , which is obviously inaccessible to wheelchair. Most of attractions aren’t truly wheelchair accessible but you can get around with help . I heard that there is a plan starting with buses in certain routes for wheelchair accessibility but I didn’t get a chance to see any.
